I love Koru’s works cuz of their environmental sensitivity. Koru is creating their swimsuits with recycled materials. The Moonlight Ocean print is Jay Alders, heralded surf artist. The one piece is perfect for surfing and stand-up paddleboarding, but you can certainly be sitting pretty around the pool or on the beach just lounging. The front has a long sport zipper and the cut is very flattering to any figure with a slimming look. The bottom cut is a cross between a Brazilian cut and Peek-A-Boo cut.
Their sustainable techno-fabric is made with ECONYL® – 100% regenerated polyamide fiber from post-consumer materials – which, when tested in real life conditions, has proven to be resilient against harsh chemicals, such as chlorine, while providing attributes consumers demand in high quality fabrics. The innovative construction and the presence of XTRA LIFE LYCRA® help create fabrics that set us apart from other swimwear.
The fabric is made from discarded materials such as carpet fluff and fishing line bound for landfills. The fabric is ultra-chlorine resistant and provides excellent UV 50+ protection.
